STUDENTS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY WON SECOND PLACE AT THE REPUBLICAN OLYMPIAD

Students of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University once again demonstrated high results in a major academic competition.

At Shakarim University in Semey, the XVII Republican Student Olympiad in the educational program 6B01601 – “History” was held on the topic “Alash and Alashorda: the Struggle for Statehood.” The intellectual competition brought together the strongest teams from all regions of the country. The event was dedicated to the 160th anniversary of Alikhan Bukeikhanov.

The “Shyghys borileri” team representing the university showed a high level of preparation and deep knowledge, securing an honorable II place among 20 teams. The participants demonstrated not only excellent knowledge of history but also critical thinking skills, analytical abilities, and the capacity to defend their arguments convincingly.

During the Olympiad, the students comprehensively analyzed the significance of the “Alash” movement and its role in the struggle for national statehood, presenting new perspectives and research-based conclusions. This confirmed their high level of professional training.

This victory became the result of a strong pursuit of knowledge, hard work, teamwork, and perseverance. It also contributes to strengthening young historians’ interest in national history and lays a solid foundation for their further academic and professional development.
