ACADEMIC MOBILITY IN UZBEKISTAN: EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE AND RESEARCH COOPERATION

Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh and Russian Philology and Journalism at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Candidate of Philological Sciences A.A. Alimkhan, visited Gulistan State University of the Republic of Uzbekistan as part of the academic mobility program.

The main objectives of the visit were to exchange knowledge and experience, strengthen academic and research cooperation, and familiarize herself with the university’s scientific literature collection. As part of the program, A.A. Alimkhan delivered lectures and conducted practical classes for students in the disciplines “Turkic Onomastics” and “Modern Kazakh Language.”

During the classes, current issues in linguistics were discussed, along with the development of Turkic languages, contemporary research in onomastics, and key areas of Kazakh linguistics.

The classes generated considerable interest among the students and contributed to the further development of academic and research ties between the two higher education institutions.

Upon completion of the program, which was aimed at expanding international academic cooperation, A.A. Alimkhan was presented with a special certificate.

The academic mobility program provides broad opportunities for enhancing the professional competencies of faculty members, exchanging experience, and strengthening international ties. In this regard, we express our gratitude to the university administration for supporting the development of educational and research activities and for creating favorable conditions for gaining valuable experience through academic mobility.
