Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held a training seminar entitled “Development and Implementation of Online Courses on the Skills Enbek Platform: Building Skills and Learning Outcomes.”

The event was organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization together with the Center for Human Resources Development JSC. The participants were University faculty members interested in developing and publishing their own educational courses on the Skills Enbek platform.

During the seminar, the University’s interim results were presented. To date, faculty members have developed 13 online courses: 9 of them have successfully passed moderation and have been published on the platform, while another 4 are still under development.

The demand for the published courses is confirmed by user interest: 1,738 people have already enrolled in the available educational programmes, and 660 of them have successfully completed their studies and received certificates.

Particular attention during the seminar was paid to the practical aspects of developing online courses. Participants discussed the formulation of skills and learning outcomes, preparation of educational content, and the main requirements for materials intended for publication on the platform.

Skills Enbek currently features courses developed by Amanzholov University faculty members in various fields, including ecology and green chemistry, language training, inclusive education, psychology, digital skills, and IT literacy.

Such seminars contribute to the development of faculty members’ digital competencies, improvement of the quality of educational content, and expansion of the University’s opportunities in the field of digital education.
