EIGHT-MONTH TEACHER RETRAINING COURSES LAUNCHED AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Eight-month teacher retraining courses have been launched at the Resource Center for Professional Training and Professional Development of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.

The opening event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Board – Vice Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation Irina Rovnyakova, Director of the Resource Center Bakytgul Kudyshevna Issebayeva, as well as faculty members and specialists responsible for implementing the teacher retraining programme.

The training began with an introductory psychological and pedagogical assessment designed to determine the participants’ initial level of knowledge, skills, and professional competencies. The diagnostic results will help faculty members assess the participants’ starting level and take it into account when organizing the further educational process.

Following the assessment, participants will begin training in 16 educational programs covering various areas of teacher preparation: 6B01515 Chemistry (IP), 6B01514 Computer Science (IP), 6B01518 Physics (IP), 6B01517 Geography (IP), 6B01601 History, 6B01706 English Language (IP), 6B01902 Special Education (IP), 6B01702 Russian Language and Literature, 6B01302 Primary Education (IP), 6B01406 Physical Education and Basic Military Training, 6B01102 Psychology (IP), 6B01202 Preschool Education (IP), 6B01701 Kazakh Language and Literature, 6B01513 Mathematics (IP), 6B01402 Vocational Education, Art and Graphics, and 6B01407 Music Education (IP).

The eight-month course will enable participants to systematize their professional knowledge, master the psychological and pedagogical foundations of teaching, and develop the competencies required for effective work in a modern educational environment.

The launch of the teacher retraining programme reflects the commitment of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University to creating opportunities for continuous professional development and the training of qualified teaching professionals.
