MODERN CHEMISTRY TEACHER: PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES AND INNOVATIVE METHODS

The Department of Chemistry of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University hosted a guest lecture entitled “Modern Chemistry Teacher: Professional Competencies, Innovative Methods, and Teaching Experience.”

The lecture was delivered by Moldir Arystanbekovna Dosmukhambet, Master of Chemistry, recipient of the “Mentor” badge of the “Teacher of Kazakhstan” Public Association and the Ybyrai Altynsarin badge, Head of the Association of Chemistry Teachers of Zaysan District, coordinator of magnet schools, and winner of regional and national chemistry olympiads.

During the meeting, participants discussed the development of professional competencies required of a modern chemistry teacher, the introduction of innovative methods into the educational process, the use of effective teaching technologies, and the adaptation of advanced pedagogical experience to classroom practice.

The lecture enabled future teachers to strengthen their professional training, connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience, and broaden their understanding of contemporary approaches to teaching chemistry.
