CITY VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

The city volleyball tournament among universities and colleges was held in the Higher School of Economics named after S. Amanzholov. The purpose of the sporting event is to identify candidates for the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan and popularization of sports among young people. The participants of the tournament were athletes of the alma mater, Higher College of EKU, Higher IT College named after D. Serikbayev, Higher Polytechnic College, Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Economics and Finance, East Kazakhstan Humanitarian College named after Abay and Eastern Technical and Humanitarian College.

Askhat Sharapiev, head of sports club of East Kazakhstan University named after S. Amanzholov, judged the players.

According to the results of judging the third place won the Eastern Technical and Humanities College, the second – East Kazakhstan Humanities College named after Abay. The cherished gold cup was won by East Kazakhstan Humanities College named after S. Amanzholov. All winners were awarded diplomas and medals.
