This report is intended as a precursor to a broad public discussion of national goals and aspirations for education in terms of what we want for our children, whether they are in kindergarten or in school, college or university,
what we want for our children, whether they are in kindergarten or in school, college or university. It is time to develop a social
contract between the state and society to set truly national priorities for education and to take shared responsibility for developing the education we all dream of for our children and grandchildren.
