THE AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY RECTOR’S CUP TOURNAMENT HAS COME TO A CLOSE.

Amanzholov University finished volleyball tournament among teachers of secondary schools of the region for the cup of Rector of East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov.

All games were very exciting and spectacular. Victory teams had to literally snatch victory from each other in a hard fight. All athletes showed skill and will to win. But, as they say, only the strongest win.

So, all prize-winning places were shared by teachers of schools of the regional center. The first place was won by the team of school № 48. The third place went to school No. 1 named after Shakarim Kudaiberdiev. The third place went to teachers of school No. 46.

– Such competitions for us have become a good tradition, – said the rector of the university Mukhtar Tөlegen. – We will try to hold more sports events within our university.

The best players of the tournament were recognized: Kәrim Islam school of Azovoye village, Kimadiev Erlan – school № 7, Ukolov Serzhan – school № 45, Nurkeshov Shynbolat – school № 26, Bolat Amanzhol – Bilim Innovation Lyceumi, Algabekuly Miras – school after R. Mәrsekov, Oralbekov Didar – school № 49, Aibekov Merey – school № 1, Manat Birzhan – school № 1, Kalymov Shalkar – school № 48, Zhanmyrza Zhanmyrbekov – school № 19, Karina Radionova – school № 42, Kaziolda Darkhan – school № 48.

The prize for the first place amounted to 200 thousand tenge, for the second 150 thousand tenge and 100 thousand tenge for the third place.

Let’s remind, representatives of 28 schools of the city and region took part in competitions. These are teams from Ust-Kamenogorsk Glubokovsky, Katon-Karagai and Ulan districts, as well as teams of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of chemical and biological direction, Lyceum “Bilim-Innovation” for gifted children, and other schools of East-Kazakhstan region.
