FEMALE STUDENTS OF UNIVERSITY BECAME ASIAN CHAMPIONS IN ROWING SLALOM

In Pattaya (Thailand) the thirteenth Asian Rowing Slalom Championships among youth and juniors ended.
At this tournament students of EKU named after S. Amanzholov Victoria Maiseeva and Vlada Tara. S. Amanzholov Victoria Maiseeva and Vlada Taradanova won gold medals in team races. The girls competed in different teams and were the first to cross the finish line. They were the first in women’s kayak, in the age category up to 23 years old.
It is worth noting that Victoria Maiseeva competed together with Daria Cheshuina and Anastasia Ananyeva, who are also representatives of VKO.
Vlada Taradanova also distinguished herself in individual races, winning two silver medals.
– The strongest athletes from Asian countries took part in this championship, – the athletes shared. – In total, in this category, in addition to our national team, teams from China, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan, Thailand, India, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar and Mongolia were represented. The coordinated work of the team and hard training helped us to perform effectively.
The girls have new starts ahead of them, for which they will be preparing. One of the serious competitions they consider the upcoming championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in this sport.
