EKU IS IMPLEMENTING A PROJECT AIMED AT INCREASING THE PRODUCTIVITY OF MINING AND METALLURGICAL EQUIPMENT PARTS

In EKU named after S. Amanzholov. S Amanzholov is implementing a project aimed at developing a method of diffusion thermocyclic electrolyte-plasma boriding of steel parts of mining and metallurgical equipment. The purpose of the scientific program is to improve the wear resistance of parts and their performance.
According to the author of the project, Associate Professor Leyla Sulubaeva, the scientific novelty of the project is that a new combined method of cathodic diffusion thermocyclic electrolyte-plasma boriding of mining and metallurgical equipment parts made of alloyed steel with subsequent anodic polishing is proposed. This in combination will contribute to the intensification of diffusion boron saturation of the surface of samples, thereby increasing its operational properties.
The project will develop a scientific basis for the method of diffusion thermocyclic electrolyte-plasma boriding of mining and metallurgical equipment parts made of alloy steel by correlating the obtained results of studies of the formation of the structural-phase state and changes in tribocorrosion characteristics depending on the variation of technological parameters of processing.
Industries of application of developments – mining and metallurgical engineering.
