PRACTICAL CLASSES FOR STUDENTS WERE HELD AT THE EKU RESEARCH LABORATORY

Students of the second year of the specialty “Life Safety and Environmental Protection” of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences, within the framework of practical classes visited the National Scientific Laboratory of Collective Use. The excursion took place under the guidance of Kulzipa Dakieva, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Ecology and Geography.

As the teacher noted, the purpose of the class was to increase interest in research work among students and familiarize them with scientific activities of EKU Sarsen Amanzholov.
Students visited the laboratory of composite materials, analytical, electrochemical laboratory, as well as the laboratory of sample preparation.

Employees of the laboratories told about their research. The students were shown modern equipment such as NMR spectrometer, IR spectrometer, UC spectrometer, atomic absorption spectrometer and other equipment.

The classes were held at a high level. Students showed interest and expressed their gratitude to the laboratory staff. Many of them noted that they want to do science in the future.
