STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATED IN THE SHIPMENT OF HUMANITARIAN AID
The headquarters of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was established in the House of Friendship in the East Kazakhstan region in order to provide assistance to the affected regions of Kazakhstan.
Youth and volunteer organizations, NGOs, ethno-cultural associations, entrepreneurs, higher educational institutions and simply not indifferent citizens actively joined to render assistance.
Volunteers, including more than 20 students of EKU named after S. Amanzholov. S. Amanzholov, shipped the first batch of humanitarian aid from Ust-Kamenogorsk.
– No one should stay on the sidelines in such a situation, that’s why we are here,” said Serikbai Dinmuhammed, chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee. – Today, together with representatives of the city’s youth organizations, we participate in loading humanitarian cargo, some of which was collected by VCU on the initiative of the rector of our university.
As the head of the regional front office of volunteers Aidos Adilbekov told, the humanitarian aid is directed to the North Kazakhstan region, to the city of Petropavlovsk. Volunteers and residents have collected about 15 tons of humanitarian aid. It is mainly food, clothes and personal hygiene items.
