AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY HELD A CLEAN-UP DAY

On the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev in the regions of the country are held subbotniks in the framework of the action “Clean Kazakhstan”.

The staff and students of EKU named after S. Amanzholov. S. Amanzholov also did not stay aside and organized a large-scale cleanup day at the weekend.

Students, staff and faculty of the university carried out sanitary cleaning of the adjacent territory and neighborhood of the university.

– I am participating in the Saturday cleanup today together with my fellow students. The weather is good. I think it is necessary to keep cleanliness around our favorite university. I urge everyone to keep our yards, streets and in general our cities and villages clean, – said a student of EKU named after S. Amanzholov Moldy Moldy. S. Amanzholov Moldir Nurlanovna.

Specially, to support the participants of the EKU clean-up day, the akim of the city Zhaksylyk Omar arrived. He emphasized that students and staff of the university always actively participate in all city-wide events.

– EKU S. Amanzholova always takes an active part in all city events. I see that students and teachers are in a good mood, the festive atmosphere is felt, – said the head of the city.

All staff, students and faculty of the four high schools and colleges took part in the cleanup day.

– We, together with our colleagues and students, all came to the clean-up day to support the initiative of our President,” said Moldir Mendir Mangilikkey, a lecturer at the college. – At the same time, we should remember that cleanliness is not where you clean, but where you don’t litter.

It is worth noting that the university regularly organizes subbotniks and events to maintain cleanliness and respect for nature.
