EKU DONATED INNOVATIVE FURNITURE SETS TO DEMEY CENTER

In honor of Children’s Day, Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University handed over to the Center for Correction and Rehabilitation “Demey” a verticalizer chair, three tables “Rastishka” and an orthopedic chair.

Alima Alipova, head of the Center for Continuous and Inclusive Education “Dana Bala”, said that technical means to support children with cerebral palsy were made within the framework of the university’s project “Center of Competence for Psychological and Pedagogical Training and Methodological and Technological Support of Children with Special Educational Needs”.

Funds for the material were collected from the charity workshop, which was held on May 17, 2024 on the basis of Amanzholov University with the support of the Education Department of EKR.

Thus, the pedagogical community of EKR by joint efforts gave an opportunity to children with cerebral palsy to learn at new tables and use a new verticalizer in rehabilitation.
