EKU STUDENTS STUDIED THE NATURAL RESOURCES OF THE REGION

First year students of the specialities “Geography”, “Geography-History”, “Hydroecology, Management and Transboundary Water Security” underwent training and field practice in Katon-Karagai district.

The training programme consisted of visits to Katon-Karagai State National Nature Park, State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Berel”, hydrological station on the Akberel River, Chingistai village and Kiin-Kerish tract.

The objectives of the training and field practice – consolidation of theoretical knowledge, development of field research skills, gaining experience in natural conditions, as well as studying the natural features of Katon-Karagai district.
