AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY SCIENTIST BECAME THE WINNER OF THE PROGRAM “ZHAS GALYM”

Two projects of young scientists of Amanzholov University won grant funding within the framework of the program “Zhas Galym”. The total amount of grants is about 60,000,000 tenge.

One of the winners is Meruert Maulet, senior researcher of the Research Center “Surface Engineering and Tribology” of Amanzholov University. She presented her work “Enhancement of protective properties of detonation coatings based on NiCrAl”. The project is aimed at determining optimal methods of processing various materials.

-My research is necessary to increase the protective properties of NiCrAl-based coatings. I am studying thermal, nanocrystalline, ultrasonic, pulse-plasma processing methods,” the scientist explained.

According to her, the competition for grant funding from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan promotes not only in-depth study of the topic under study, but also is a motivation for new scientific achievements.

It should be noted that the grant amount for the project of Meruert Maulet is about 30,000,000 tenge.
