AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TOOK PART IN THE ALTAI STATE UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL

Scientific and Educational Center of Altaistics and Turkology “Big Altai” of Altai State University organized the IV International Summer School “Early Medieval Societies of the Great Altai. Man and Natural Environment”. The event was attended by students of the specialty “History” of Amanzholov University under the supervision of the lecturer Ernaz Ermekov.

During the official part, scientists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan made author’s reports. Then the students visited cultural and historical places of Barnaul. Finally, the school participants listened to a lecture detailing the history of the city.

In addition, during their stay at AltSU the students listened to scientific reports and witnessed expert analysis of scientists. The latter presented their works at the International Expert Forum “Slavic-Turkic World in the Great Altai: History and Modernity”.

A vivid memory for young people was a trip to the town of Belokurikha. Here they were shown archeological monuments, parks and coastal complexes.
