AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY WILL BE PRESENTED AT THE 5TH WORLD NOMAD GAMES

In a matter of days, the 5th World Nomad Games will start in Astana. This year’s event promises to be particularly large-scale, attracting guests from 89 countries and expecting a visit from the presidents of 10 states.

Within the framework of the Games, an exhibition ‘Alaman kurak’ dedicated to the art of sewing blankets will be organised. Among its participants are the representatives of EKU Aizhan Umbetova and Asel Abieva, who have been making eco-national products in modern interpretation for not the first year. The masters sew headdresses, bedspreads and pillows, studying in detail the meaning and history of the origin of ornaments.
