MEETING WITH LOCAL HISTORIAN AND WRITER KALIBEK ALTYBAEV

University students met with Kalibek Altybaev, honorary citizen of Zaisan district, member of the Union of Writers and Journalists, abaeologist and local historian. His name is inscribed in the book of records of KINES.

The meeting with the creative personality was held in the format of free communication. Talking about his life path, the writer noted that he was born in the harsh war years. From an early age he was involved in hard labor.

-From childhood I took care of cattle in the mountains of Zaisan region. At the beginning of the working day I always took novels for leisure. By evening, coming home, I would finish reading a whole book. It was not enough for me. I became interested in newspapers and magazines,” the writer said.

Kalibek Altybaev is the author of such famous books as “Bilim Bilim – tiktiktin tiregi”, “Atameken Zaisan”, “San Kasip Sayahat”, “Sharagyn mangi ushin”, “Kazak Batyr Baimurat Bayymbetuly”. To date, 28 books have been published.
