THE XVI REPUBLICAN OLYMPIAD IN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE WAS HELD

On the basis of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University the XVI Republican Student Subject Olympiad on the educational programme “Russian language and literature” was held. The organisers were teachers of the Department of Kazakh, Russian philology and journalism.

In the educational competition took part 14 teams of leading universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the results of the Olympiad the team of M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University got the absolute superiority in the team score, the student of this university Asiyat Sharaputynova won in the individual score.

– I am proud that I was able to take the first place. This is not only my victory, but also the merit of all our teachers who supported me throughout the competition. The Olympiad was a great opportunity not only to test my knowledge, but also to make new acquaintances with talented people from other universities. Thank you to Amanzholov University for organising it. I am glad that now the Olympiad will be held in our university, – said Asiyat Sharaputynova.

It should be noted that in addition to team and individual scoring, the first place in the “Creative Competition” was awarded to the team of Shakarim University of Semey.

The winners were awarded with diplomas and money certificates from 35 000 to 70 000 tenge.

Also we remind, the team of East Kazakhstan University Karina Abdrakhmanova (fourth year student) – the winner of the XV Republican Olympiad, held in 2023 in Pavlodar, Anastasia Vashchilova (fourth year student), Dmitry Werner (third year student) – performed out of competition as a team of the host university.
