NEW ACADEMIC YEAR AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

This year more than 3000 students were enrolled in Amanzholov University. Among them 1230 state grant holders, more than 60 Altynbelgians, 20 winners of international and republican competitions, 70 KMS and masters of sports.

Pedagogical educational programs in the S. Amanzholov EKU continue to be in the greatest demand. This year about 1000 students enrolled in pedagogical bachelor’s degree programs. The most popular OPs among students were “Kazakh language and literature”, “Foreign language”, “Training of teachers of mathematics”, “Physical education and sports”, “Defectology”.

– I cannot but mention the implementation of 12 new innovative educational programs in our university. We have mainly focused on educational programs designed to work in an inclusive environment, these are “Ergo-Pedagogy”, “Early Support Pedagogy”, “Special Pedagogy”. Also, applicants with profile subjects of biology and geography entered the innovative OP “Hydroecology, Management and Transboundary Water Security”: the EP is aimed at training competitive specialists in the field of hydroecology, protection and management of water resources, – says Rector Mukhtar Tolegen.
