H-INDEX NATIONAL RATING LEADERS: AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY AMONG THE BEST

In the second quarter of 2025, the National H-index rating of scientific organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, based on data from authoritative scientific metric platforms such as Scopus, Google Scholar and others, was updated. This rating reflects the level of scientific productivity of universities and researchers, contributes to the formation of a competitive scientific environment and effective distribution of grants.

According to the latest data published, Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took 35th place among 96 universities of the country, entering the top of the list. The total Hirsch index (H-index) of the university amounted to: Scopus – 17, Web of Science – 10, Google Scholar – 46.

These indicators testify to the high scientific potential of the university, active development of research activities and stable strengthening of positions in the national academic system.

The achieved result is an important indicator of effective scientific strategy of the university and a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstani science.
