THE ENCYCLOPEDIC PORTAL “ABAI AKADEMIASY” WAS CREATED

The encyclopedic portal “ABAI AKADEMIASY” was opened in Abai region. The landmark event took place in Semey city within the framework of the decade dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev. The new digital platform systematized and collected in one place Abai’s literary, scientific and musical heritage.

Director of the Research Institute “Abaitanu” at East Kazakhstan University, Doctor of Philological Sciences Aizhan Kartayeva was among the authors of the encyclopedia in the section “Our Authors” along with outstanding personalities and famous scientists of Kazakhstan. In particular, Alikhan Bukeykhanov, Mukhtar Auezov and modern scientists who continue to study the heritage of the great poet.

The portal provides free and open access from anywhere in the world. The initiative is aimed at developing the science of Abaeology, as well as strengthening the creative community and supporting young researchers.
