A COUNCIL OF ACADEMIC ADVISORS WAS HELD AT EKU

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, the traditional “Council of Academic Advisors” was held, aimed at providing methodological and informational support to advisors of student groups. During the meeting, the work plan for the 2025–2026 academic year was presented, and the main directions for the new academic year were outlined.

Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Work, Zhanetta Kalimoldina, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of educating young people, ensuring their safety, and organizing meaningful leisure activities. Referring to the new Address of the Head of State, she stressed that the university’s mission is not only to transmit knowledge but, above all, to nurture well-rounded individuals.

The meeting also addressed new opportunities for youth, digital transformation and the “Al-Sana” program, research clubs, the advantages and possibilities of Freedom Bank cards, crime prevention and legal safety of students, psychological trainings, and effective organization of advisory hours, among other topics.

At the conclusion of the session, the best advisors of the Higher Schools were awarded certificates of merit.
