PROFESSOR FROM TURKEY GAVE A LECTURE ON LINGUISTIC DIVERSITY

Dr. PhD Nurettin Demir, Professor at the Faculty of Humanities of Hacettepe University (Ankara, Turkey), delivered a lecture on “Applied Aspects of Comparative Grammar and Linguistic Landscapes.”

The audience included students of the educational programs “Kazakh Language and Literature,” “Kazakh Language and Literature in Schools with Non-Kazakh Language of Instruction,” “Russian Language and Literature,” “Russian Language and Literature in Schools with Russian and Non-Russian Languages of Instruction,” “Journalism,” “English Language (IP),” and “Foreign Languages.”

Students gained new knowledge about the diversity of languages and their role in the global society, as well as broadened their academic horizons.
