FUTURE PSYCHOLOGISTS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY LEARNED ABOUT THE FINER POINTS OF THE PROFESSION

A meeting with a specialist in psychological counseling — practicing psychologist and author on a professional platform, Olesya Kovalenko — was held at the Department of Psychology of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.

The event brought together first-, second-, and third-year students of the educational programs Psychology and Clinical Psychology.

During the lecture, several important topics were addressed: emotional burnout and ways to overcome it; recovery after difficult life events (such as divorce or the loss of loved ones); the development of healthy and compassionate self-attitude; and the specifics of starting a private psychological practice.
The psychologist shared her professional experience, spoke about real challenges and opportunities in the field, and offered practical recommendations.

The meeting took place in a warm and open atmosphere. Students showed great interest, actively asked questions, and received insightful answers and professional advice.

Amanzholov University traditionally supports such events aimed at strengthening professional competencies, fostering personal growth, and enhancing practical training.
