A MEETING OF THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL WAS HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a scheduled meeting of the Academic Council was held. The event was chaired by the university’s rector, Mukhtar Tolegen. Participants discussed issues related to the improvement of educational, methodological, and extracurricular work, the university’s development programs, student admissions, and graduate employment.

It is noteworthy that the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation, Irina Rovnyakova, reported on the university’s readiness for the new academic year and preparations for implementing educational programs in an online format.

Leila Baizhumanova, the responsible secretary, presented a report on the work of the Admissions Committee.

On the topic of supporting graduate employment, Janel Bolatova, Head of the Marketing, Career, and Employment Center, gave a presentation.

Gulnur Sharapieva, Head of the Department of Commercialization and Scientific Projects, reported on the approval of the permanent composition of the Dissertation Councils in the fields of “Physical and Chemical Sciences” and “Teacher Training in Natural Sciences.”

In addition, letters of appreciation for high-quality work were awarded to Honorary Professor Rizabek Sarmuldinov, Associate Professor Bakhyt Shaikhova, and Head of the Administrative Department Bolatbek Aimenov.

“I sincerely thank you for your contribution to the development of the university and the education sector, as well as for your civic engagement in nurturing the younger generation,” noted Rector Mukhtar Tolegen.

Following the meeting, specific instructions were given to the responsible persons regarding the issues discussed.
