THE SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE “CURRENT ISSUES IN FUNDAMENTAL AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS” HAS KICKED OFF AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Today, the first day of the scientific conference “Current Issues in Fundamental and Applied Mathematics” took place at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. Leading scientists from across the country, professors, and doctoral students participated in the event.

The participants discussed the current state of mathematical science, research directions, and opportunities for the development of regional science.

The main goal of the conference is to develop the scientific potential of the East Kazakhstan region by involving local mathematicians in ongoing and prospective grant-funded projects. In this context, an important part of the program included open reports by the heads of grant projects in mathematics. The Chair of the Program Committee, Tynysbek Kalmenov, University Rector Mukhtar Tulegen, and General Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling, Mahmud Sadybekov, welcomed the participants at the opening ceremony and wished them success in their scientific work.

— “Today’s conference will give a strong impetus to the development of mathematical science in the East Kazakhstan region. Such scientific gatherings bring together young researchers and experienced specialists, creating opportunities to form new research directions,” noted Mahmud Sadybekov.

The event was organized at a high level, strengthened cooperation within the scientific community, and paved the way for new scientific initiatives. The conference will continue tomorrow, during which reports and discussions will comprehensively address contemporary issues in mathematical science.
