AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, THE TOURNAMENT “CHEMICAL KALEIDOSCOPE XVI” WAS HELD.

At Amanzholov University, the XVI “Chemical Kaleidoscope” tournament was held for motivated school students. At the opening of the event, Vice-Rector for Educational Work Zhanetta Kalimoldina and Head of the Chemistry Department Bakhyt Shaikhova congratulated the participants, wished them success, and invited them to study at the university in the future.

Students from the educational programs “Chemistry and Nanomaterials,” “Chemical Forensic Examination,” “Chemistry and Biology,” and “Chemistry (IP)” actively participated in organizing the tournament. They prepared various contests and quizzes for the participants, as well as organized a competition for the best Instagram post. Traditional stages—“Introduction,” “Warm-up,” “Active Supporter,” “Chemists-Lyrists,” captain competitions, theoretical and practical tasks—allowed for a comprehensive assessment of the students’ knowledge. Participants conducted experiments in Amanzholov University’s modern chemistry laboratories and worked with laboratory equipment. The theme of this year’s tournament was “Metals and Alloys.”

Over two days, interactive quizzes, puzzles, chemical rap, a flash mob, and the game “Crocodile” took place, where young chemists demonstrated their creativity and scientific thinking. At the end of the tournament, winners received diplomas, certificates, and sweet gifts. Teachers were also presented with letters of appreciation.
