THE FINAL MEETING OF THE REGIONAL AKIM WITH THE PUBLIC WAS HELD AT SARSEN AMANZHOLOV EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY
Today, the final reporting meeting of the Akim of the East Kazakhstan region, Nurymbet Amanovich Saktaganov, with the residents of Ust-Kamenogorsk for the results of 2025 was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.
During the meeting, the regional Akim reviewed the key outcomes of the socio-economic development of the region, provided detailed information on the work carried out over the year, and outlined priority directions planned for the upcoming period. Particular attention was given to specific measures and projects implemented in the region in accordance with the tasks outlined in the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, to the people of Kazakhstan on September 8, titled “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Resolution through Fundamental Digital Transformations.”
The reporting meeting covered issues related to the socio-economic development of the region, industrial modernization, support for small and medium-sized businesses, tourism development, improvement of road and transport infrastructure, upgrading of water supply and heating systems, housing construction, and increasing the accessibility and quality of internet services. Additionally, the results of the work carried out and plans for the future in the fields of education, healthcare, sports and culture, as well as environmental protection, were presented.
The meeting was held in an open format, allowing residents to ask questions directly. The regional Akim paid particular attention to citizens’ proposals and requests, providing specific instructions to heads of relevant departments on several issues.
Holding this important event at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University was no coincidence. The university is rightly considered a leader in the field of education in the region, a key platform for scientific and innovative initiatives, and a significant public space for constructive dialogue. Today, the university actively contributes to enhancing the intellectual potential of the region, training modern specialists, and supporting government initiatives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the regional Akim noted the active participation of the residents and emphasized the importance of such open dialogue formats for strengthening trust between society and the authorities. He also highlighted that joint and systematic work forms a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the region and the effective implementation of set objectives.
