It was emphasized that the large-scale political and socio-economic reforms of recent years, constitutional changes, and initiatives to expand citizens’ rights and opportunities are tangible evidence of the country confidently moving into a new stage of development.
Special attention during the discussion was given to the Head of State’s decision to declare 2026 the “Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.” The university community recognized this initiative as timely and aligned with global trends. It was noted that the development of digital technologies and artificial intelligence not only increases the competitiveness of the economy but also elevates education and science to a qualitatively new level.
The meeting also comprehensively covered the areas highlighted in the interview, including sustainable economic growth, the implementation of large infrastructure projects, the development of transport and logistics potential, energy, agriculture, and the processing industry. It was emphasized that all these initiatives are aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens, ensuring balanced regional development, and securing the long-term stability of the country.
The university community attached particular importance to the issues of education, science, and human capital development. According to the participants, a modern university should not only be an educational institution but also a center that integrates innovation, technology, and national values. An educated, thoughtful generation with high digital literacy is the country’s main strategic resource.
As the Head of State noted, strengthening the principles of responsibility, diligence, the rule of law, and justice in society is a solid foundation for sustainable development and a reliable future.
Today’s discussion once again demonstrated that a period is coming which requires every student, lecturer, and researcher to adopt new thinking, focus on concrete results, and maintain an active civic position. The university community is ready to contribute to the implementation of the strategic directions outlined by the President.
The goal is clear: to form a competitive nation, develop modern education and science, and together build a Kazakhstan that meets the challenges of the digital age.
