CAREER GUIDANCE ACTIVITIES OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY REPRESENTATIVES IN THE ULANSKY DISTRICT

Representatives of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University visited the Ulansky District of East Kazakhstan Region to conduct career guidance activities among students in grades 9–11.

As part of the visit, the event “Amanzholov University Day” was held, during which Irina Rovnyakova, Deputy Chair of the Board – Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation, introduced graduates, their parents, and teachers in the district to the university’s activities. In her speech, she highlighted Amanzholov University’s high performance in higher education, achievements in international and national rankings, the quality of educational programs, and the employment rates of graduates.

On behalf of the university rector, Irina Rovnyakova presented letters of appreciation to the head and staff of the Ulansky District Education Department, expressing gratitude for fruitful cooperation and their contribution to the development of education.

A welcoming speech was also delivered by Zhanneta Kalimoldina, Board Member – Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Work. She emphasized that Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University is a leader in higher education and a flagship of the pedagogical field in Eastern Kazakhstan, and invited high school graduates to continue their studies at the university.

A highlight of the meeting was the awarding of a four-year educational grant from the university to Sayanu Mautykhanov, a graduate of R. Marsekov Secondary School and Grand Prix winner of the regional competition “Law and Order.” This initiative served as a vivid example of supporting talented youth and an effective motivation for students in choosing their future profession.

At the conclusion of the event, university student activists presented an engaging concert program for the students and guests, creating an atmosphere of open dialogue and friendly interaction.
