COMPETITION “SCIENTIFIC INTERNSHIPS IN LABORATORIES OF THE WORLD”

Scientific and Educational Foundation named after Academician Sh. Yesenova announces the opening of her annual competition for the provision of 10 grants to undergraduate, graduate, internship students and current researchers for scientific internships in scientific laboratories around the world.

if you:

Citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
A student of a Kazakh university or a current researcher;
Is your specialization natural science or technical;
Do you dream of enrolling in a PhD program at leading foreign universities;
Do you have a great desire to work and develop science in Kazakhstan;

You have a chance TO GET A GRANT AND GO ON A SCIENTIFIC INTERNSHIP IN THE SUMMER OF 2024!

To do this, from 09.10 to 11/14/2023, it is necessary to fill out an application on the foundation’s website and provide the following documents:

Required documents:

Scan of the identity card;
An essay on “Exploring my Dreams”.

The essay should contain answers to the following questions:

what research experience do you have already?
how do you see for yourself the exploration of your dreams and what can be done to make it happen.
Transcripts (all semesters of study);
Bachelor’s degree diploma with grades (for undergraduates and researchers) or diploma from the last place of study – no more than 1 document;
Resume.

Additional documents:

Scientific certificates – no more than 3 certificates;
Certificates for social activity and volunteering – no more than 2 certificates;
Publications – no more than 2 publications;
Recommendation of the supervisor/ vice–rector / rector of the university – no more than 1 document.

The program provides 10 grants for a summer internship in the world’s leading scientific and research laboratories, lasting up to 90 days.
