AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY BECAME A PLATFORM FOR OPEN DIALOGUE WITH DEPUTIES OF THE REGIONAL AND CITY MASLIKHATS

A meeting between deputies of the regional and city maslikhats and students and faculty members was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The event was dedicated to explaining the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was conducted in an open dialogue format and became an important platform for discussing the key provisions of the constitutional reform, its significance for the development of the state and civil society. During the event, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views on the proposed amendments.

The speakers included Angela Gornostayeva, Deputy of the City Maslikhat; Zoya Novolodskaya, Deputy of the Regional Maslikhat; Renata Turdiyeva, Head of the Political Affairs Department of the East Kazakhstan Regional Branch of the Amanat Party; and Aliya Mukasheva, Chairperson of the East Kazakhstan Regional Branch of the Respublica Party.

In their speeches, they подробно outlined the key innovations of the draft Constitution, emphasizing the importance of active civic engagement, particularly the participation of young people in the socio-political life of the country.

Students and faculty members actively engaged in the discussion, demonstrating a high level of interest and legal awareness.

Such meetings contribute to enhancing students’ legal literacy, developing critical thinking, and strengthening the connection between representative bodies of authority and the academic community. The university continues its work as an open platform for constructive dialogue on pressing issues related to the country’s development.
