RECTOR’S MEETING WITH INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

A meeting between the Chairman of the Board – Rector, Mukhtar Tolegen, and international students was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The event took place in a warm and open atmosphere, serving as a platform for dialogue and cultural exchange.

The meeting was attended by students who arrived under the “Orhun” program from Fırat University (Türkiye), as well as students participating in academic mobility programs from the Tajik International University named after Sotim Ulugzoda. In addition, students from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, the People’s Republic of China, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Mongolia took part in the meeting.

During the discussion, students shared their impressions of the academic process, spoke about their home countries, and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in higher education. Special attention was given to issues of academic mobility, research activities, living conditions, and integration into student life.

The Rector подчеркнул that internationalization is one of the university’s key strategic priorities and assured participants that the institution will continue to create comfortable and supportive conditions for international students.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants expressed their gratitude to the university administration for its support and attentive approach, noting that they feel part of a unified academic community.
