FUTURE PSYCHOLOGISTS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY: PRACTICE THAT FORMS PROFESSIONALS
From January 19 to April 10, 2026, Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University organized a professional (industrial) internship for students of the 6B03101 “Psychology” educational program. The internship became an important stage in the professional development of future specialists, allowing them to consolidate theoretical knowledge and develop key psychological practice skills.
Within the framework of the program, students mastered professional methods of work, learned to build communication with clients, conduct consultations, and apply modern psychological techniques in practice.
Special attention should be given to the work of fourth-year students Anastasia Payuk and Evelina Mikhaylenkova, who completed their internship at the East Kazakhstan Regional Multidisciplinary Center of Oncology and Surgery.
During the internship, they conducted a training session for the Center’s staff on the topic “Formation of Ethics, Deontology, and Cohesion of Medical Personnel.” The main goal of the training was to develop tolerant relationships, strengthen teamwork, and improve mutual understanding within the team.
The event took place in a warm and trusting atmosphere. Participants actively engaged in discussions, completed practical tasks, and shared professional experience. This format not only expanded knowledge but also allowed participants to view familiar work processes from a new perspective.
The professional internship is an important platform where students of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University gain real-world work experience. It is here that future psychologists learn to apply their knowledge, develop professional competencies, and take their first confident steps in the profession under the guidance of experienced specialists.
The practice-oriented approach to education enables the university to train competitive specialists capable of working effectively in modern conditions and contributing to the development of society.
