ADVANCED TRAINING COURSE ON INCLUSIVE EDUCATION HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY
As part of the advanced training course for educational program managers, the Department for the Organization of Educational and Methodological Work held a relevant seminar on the topic “Inclusive Educational Environment: Learning Redesign, Accessibility, and Digital Solutions.”
The speaker of the seminar was A.K. Alipova, Head of the “Dana Bala” Center for Continuing and Inclusive Education at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.
During the event, participants were introduced to regulatory and legal acts in the field of inclusive education and were presented with real practical cases of teaching students with special educational needs. In addition, an interactive mini-test was organized to identify the need for adapting educational programs.
The practical training session aroused special interest among participants. As part of the training, attendees took on the roles of a student with special educational needs and a teacher in an inclusive environment, which allowed them to better understand the real challenges of inclusive education.
The seminar also presented approaches for transitioning from considering individual characteristics to universal learning design, demonstrated diagnostic and adaptation matrices, and explored methods for redesigning educational materials and assessment systems.
In addition, the digital architecture of inclusion at the university, the role of inclusion in the design of educational programs, and modern approaches to inclusive redesign were discussed in detail.
Today, Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University is recognized as one of the leaders in the development of inclusion in the education system, fostering a culture of equal opportunities through the implementation of modern support models, digital solutions, and practice-oriented approaches.
