STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY DEMONSTRATED HIGH RESULTS AT THE REPUBLICAN OLYMPIAD

On April 23–24, 2026, the XVIII Republican Subject Olympiad in the field of “6B013 – Biology Teacher Training” was held in Turkestan at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.

Fourth-year students of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took part in this intellectual competition and достойно represented the university. In particular:
Anel Akylbekova – educational program 6B01505 “Biology”,
Aruzhan Kumarbekova – educational program 6B01505 “Biology”,
Kuankan Bekbolat – educational program 6B01512 “Biology-Natural Science”.

According to the results of the Olympiad among 19 teams, Anel Akylbekova won the prize-winning I place. The other team members were awarded certificates for active participation. This achievement became the result of high-quality preparation, perseverance of the students, and the systematic work of the department.

The Republican Subject Olympiad is an important educational platform that not only improves the professional knowledge of future specialists, but also develops their scientific thinking, research skills, creative activity, and self-confidence. Such competitions provide students with opportunities to demonstrate their abilities, gain experience, and grow professionally.

For the Department of Biology, this student achievement is a matter of special pride. The result clearly demonstrates the students’ aspiration for knowledge, their sense of responsibility, and the high professional level of the teaching staff.

In this regard, we express our gratitude to the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Professor Mukhtar Tolegen, for his constant support of student development in the fields of education and science. The support of the university leadership serves as a solid foundation for students’ participation in republican competitions and achieving high results.
