PATRIOTISM, STRENGTH, AND SPIRIT: THE “ZHAS ULAN” GAME WAS HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

The regional military-sports game “Zhas Ulan” was held at the Kabambay Batyr Military Department of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University in Ust-Kamenogorsk, bringing together the best participants from city and district stages.

The main purpose of the event was to foster Kazakhstani patriotism among young people, develop military-applied skills, and promote a healthy lifestyle. More than 80 students took part in the competition, demonstrating a high level of preparation, discipline, and team spirit.

The program of the game included a set of challenges aimed at testing physical endurance, drill training, and intellectual abilities. Participants competed in drill inspections and song performances, completed strength exercises, passed fire training stages, defended historical and research projects, and overcame a military-style cross-country course.

The performances of the teams were evaluated by a competent jury consisting of representatives of the university’s military department and the military-technical school of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the results of the competition, the prize places were distributed as follows:
• 1st place — “Sunkar” team (Ridder district)
• 2nd place — “Sunkar” team (Altai district)
• 3rd place — “Aibyn” team (Ulan district)

The winners and prize-winners were awarded cups, diplomas, and medals, while all participants received certificates. The team that took first place will represent the East Kazakhstan region at the republican stage of the “Zhas Ulan” military-sports game.

Holding such events at the university once again confirms its important role in the patriotic education of young people and in strengthening cooperation with educational and military institutions of the region.
