**INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION WITHIN THE ORHUN PROGRAM: AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY SCHOLARS EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE AT FIRAT UNIVERSITY**

From May 10 to May 23, 2026, as part of the ORHUN Program, a delegation of faculty members from Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University paid an academic visit to Fırat University in Elazığ, Republic of Türkiye. During the visit, the participants delivered lectures and took part in an international academic exchange.

The ORHUN Program is an important international initiative aimed at strengthening cooperation among higher education institutions of the Turkic world, promoting academic mobility, expanding research collaboration, and fostering cultural exchange.

As part of the program, scholars from Amanzholov University delivered lectures and practical classes in specialized disciplines for students of Fırat University.

In particular, Kulzhibek Askenovna Kusmanova, Doctor of Philological Sciences and Professor of the Department of Pedagogical Education and Management, delivered a lecture series on “Methodology of Teaching Turkic Languages” for students of the Department of Turkish Education at the Faculty of Education. She shared her expertise in the linguistic and methodological aspects of teaching Turkic languages and highlighted the common cultural and educational heritage of Turkic peoples.

Maira Shurshitbayevna Tarlaubai, PhD and Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences and Humanities, delivered the lecture course “Culture and Worldview of the Kazakh People” for students of the Department of History at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, presenting comprehensive insights into the historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.

In addition, Tolkyn Muratbekovna Abdrakhmanova, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies, together with Anastasia Vladimirovna Kosyntseva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pedagogical Education and Management and Master of Pedagogical Sciences, conducted lectures and practical classes on “Methods of Foreign Language Teaching” for students of the Department of English Translation and Interpreting at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

A key focus of the academic visit was the exchange of professional experience between the faculty members of the two universities. The participants discussed contemporary approaches to higher education, current research priorities, and opportunities for developing international academic projects.

The two institutions also explored prospects for joint research initiatives, academic mobility programs, and the expansion of international partnerships. The Amanzholov University delegation became acquainted with Fırat University’s academic and research infrastructure, its faculties and research centers, and held meetings to discuss promising areas for future cooperation.

The visit, organized within the framework of the ORHUN Program, further strengthened international ties between Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University and Fırat University, making a meaningful contribution to the development of academic cooperation, scientific collaboration, and cultural exchange across the Turkic world.
