AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY AND PEKING UNIVERSITY EXPAND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University continues its systematic efforts to integrate into the international educational environment and expand its global partnerships.

As part of these efforts, the University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with one of the leading higher education institutions of the People’s Republic of China — Peking University.

Peking University is a public research university located in the Haidian District of Beijing. It is administered by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and receives direct state funding. The University is a participant in the national “211” and “985” projects aimed at developing China’s leading higher education institutions, as well as the initiative to establish world-class universities. It is also a member of the C9 League, an association of China’s most prestigious higher education institutions.

The main purpose of the memorandum is to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in higher education, science, and innovation, strengthen academic ties, and implement joint international educational projects.

As part of the cooperation, the parties intend to develop academic mobility for students and faculty members, conduct joint research, organize international conferences and seminars, exchange expertise, and explore opportunities for developing dual-degree programs.

The University actively participates in international research projects and maintains close ties with leading educational and research organizations in various regions of the world.

The memorandum represents an important step for the University in expanding the geographical scope of its international partnerships, enhancing the quality of education, and creating new academic opportunities for students and faculty members.

The signed agreement lays a solid foundation for long-term and fruitful cooperation between the two universities.
