AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY SCHOLAR RECOMMENDED FOR THE AWARD OF A PHD DEGREE

On June 23, 2026, Gulftat Zhanbolatovna Kalelova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Ecology and Geography of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, achieved a significant milestone for the academic community.

At a meeting of the Dissertation Council held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, she successfully defended her dissertation entitled “Pedagogical Opportunities for Using Illustrative Materials to Enhance Students’ Practice-Oriented Activities in Studying Cause-and-Effect Relationships in the ‘Natural Science’ Course.”

By the decision of the Dissertation Council, Gulftat Zhanbolatovna Kalelova was recommended for the award of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the educational program 8D01506 – Geography Education.

The University currently places particular emphasis on the development of research, the training of academic personnel, the implementation of new educational programs, and the expansion of the activities of Dissertation Councils. As a result, the University’s research potential continues to grow, while an increasing number of young researchers are choosing to pursue academic careers.
