INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES AT MUĞLA SITKI KOÇMAN UNIVERSITY

Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, PhD Jazira Bigaliyevna Mukazhanova, and Senior Lecturer Nazerke Rashidovna Saghdollina are participating in international professional development courses at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (Republic of Türkiye) from June 18 to July 4, 2026. The programme is dedicated to the topic “Modern Research Methods and Innovative Technologies in Chemical Education and Science.”

The programme aims to promote international scientific cooperation, facilitate the exchange of advanced research experience, conduct joint scientific research, and develop expertise in modern research methods and innovative technologies in the field of chemical education and science. The course content contributes to the advancement of participants’ research activities, the development of their professional competencies, and the strengthening of cooperation with the international scientific community.

As part of the training programme, scientific cooperation has been established with Professor Mehmet Öztürk of the Department of Chemistry at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, who was included in the 2025 list of the “World’s Most Influential Scientists.” Currently, work is underway to prepare the results of joint research for publication in the scientific journal Analytical Letters, which is indexed in the international Scopus database and belongs to the Q3 quartile.

In addition, the participants of the international training programme are becoming acquainted with the scientific laboratories and technical facilities of the university, studying the practical application of modern analytical equipment, and discussing prospects for implementing joint international scientific projects.

Such international professional development programmes contribute to enhancing the professional and research potential of academic staff, improving the quality of education, strengthening international academic cooperation, and further enhancing the university’s international academic and research reputation.
