AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY EXPRESSES GRATITUDE TO MUKHTAR ADILBEKOVICH

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University hosted a special gathering titled “Gratitude for Leadership” to bid farewell to Chairman of the Board – Rector Mukhtar Adilbekovich, marking the conclusion of his distinguished tenure as he embarks on a new chapter in his career.

The event was attended by Deputy Akim of East Kazakhstan Region Yerbol Nurgaliyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors Amerkhan Rakhymzhanov, heads of regional government bodies, educational leaders, university partners, public figures, university veterans, faculty, staff, alumni, and students.

The evening opened with a dedicated video presentation showcasing key milestones in the university’s development, major projects implemented, and core achievements accomplished under Mukhtar Adilbekovich’s leadership.

In his welcoming remarks, Deputy Akim Yerbol Nurgaliyev commended Mukhtar Adilbekovich’s significant contribution to regional higher education and science, extending his best wishes for continued success in his future endeavors.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Amerkhan Rakhymzhanov noted that the institution’s robust growth and recent accomplishments were direct outcomes of strategic leadership and professional governance. In a gesture of deep respect, adhering to Kazakh tradition, he presented Mukhtar Adilbekovich with an honorary chapan.

Addressing the assembly, Mukhtar Adilbekovich expressed sincere gratitude to the university staff, faculty, students, and partners, emphasizing that Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University will always hold a special place in his life. He highlighted team unity and shared commitment as the institution’s most essential strengths.

Tributes were also delivered by Head of the East Kazakhstan Regional Education Department Kuat Okasov, Deputy Prosecutor of East Kazakhstan Region Sabyrzhan Onalbayev, Regional Branch Chair of the Adilet Party Zhanat Makeyeva, Chair of the Local Trade Union of Education and Science Workers Nazgul Kassenova, Director of the “Orleu” National Center for Professional Development regional branch Gaukhar Zhumanova, and Director of the East Kazakhstan Labor Mobility Center Araylym Yessimbekova. Each speaker emphasized his substantial impact on the higher education sector.

During the “University Expresses Gratitude” segment, students, faculty, and institutional veterans shared reflections and warm words of appreciation. On behalf of the vice-rectors, school deans, center directors, and department heads, a commemorative gift was presented to Mukhtar Adilbekovich.

Musical performances by the university’s creative ensembles enlivened the gathering.
