SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL SEMINAR DEDICATED TO ABAI’S TEACHING “TOLYQ ADAM” AND THE “ADAL AZAMAT” CONCEPT HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University hosted a scientific and methodological seminar dedicated to the teachings of Abai on “Tolyq Adam” (The Complete Human) and the “Adal Azamat” (Honest Citizen) concept.

The main objective of the event was to conduct an academic discussion on the essence of the great thinker Abai Kunanbayuly’s concept of “Tolyq Adam” and the “Adal Azamat” framework within the context of spiritual and moral heritage continuity and the modern educational process.

Board Member and Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Affairs Zhanneta Amangeldinovna Kalimoldina delivered the welcoming remarks, underscoring the significance of the event.

As part of the academic presentations:

Dr. Aizhan Maratbekkyzy Kartayeva, Doctor of Philological Sciences and Director of the “Abaitanü” Research Institute at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, delivered a report titled “The ‘Adal Azamat’ Program in Education and the Civilization of Abai’s Teaching.”

Meruert Kozybekkyzy Mukasheva presented a paper on the value continuity between Abai’s “Tolyq Adam” teaching and the “Adal Azamat” initiative, highlighting the importance of Abai’s legacy in educating the younger generation.

Bigul Matashkyzy Abenova addressed the topic “The School of Upbringing in the Epic ‘The Path of Abai’: Family, Environment, and Society.”

Aikhat Adilov concluded the presentation segment by discussing the formation of an educated and wise generation through the works of Abai.

Following the seminar, participants exchanged insights on popularizing Abai’s spiritual heritage in education, promoting national values, and fostering moral integrity in youth.
