IN LOVING MEMORY OF A VETERAN OF SARSEN AMANZHOLOV EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anatoly Mikhailovich Kolkutin, a veteran of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, and Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education.

Anatoly Mikhailovich was born on August 25, 1941, in the village of Tolsty Lug, Kursk Region. This year, he would have turned 85.

After graduating from the Omsk Institute of Physical Culture in 1962, Anatoly Mikhailovich moved to Ust-Kamenogorsk and began his professional career at the Ust-Kamenogorsk Pedagogical Institute, with which he connected many years of his professional and teaching life.

Working as a lecturer at the Department of Physical Education, Anatoly Mikhailovich made a significant contribution to the development of physical culture and sports education. His professionalism, sense of responsibility, and dedication to teaching earned him the respect of colleagues and students alike.

Working with young students held a special place in his life. During the summer months, Anatoly Mikhailovich repeatedly served as commander of the “Brigantina” student construction brigade. For three years, he also headed the district headquarters of student brigades. For many young people, those years became an important school of life, work, responsibility, and comradeship.

Anatoly Mikhailovich was a person who not only shared professional knowledge with students, but also instilled in them such important qualities as discipline, determination, mutual support, and responsibility. His teaching career was inseparably connected with care for young people and a sincere desire to help every student realise their abilities.

Over his many years of service at the University, he left a significant mark on the history of the institution, on the professional lives of his students, and in the memories of his colleagues. His name will forever remain associated with generations of faculty members and students for whom Anatoly Mikhailovich was a mentor, colleague, and senior companion.

The staff of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University expresses its sincere and deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Anatoly Mikhailovich.

A person’s memory lives on through their deeds, through the students to whom they passed on their knowledge and life experience, and through the warm memories of those who had the honour of working with and knowing them.

The cherished memory of Anatoly Mikhailovich Kolkutin will forever remain in our hearts.
