OPEN DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE RECTOR AND STUDENTS HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held a meeting between The Chairman of the Board – Rector Gulzhan Jarassova and the University’s student leaders.

The meeting focused on youth initiatives, the development of student organizations, new opportunities for self-realization, and open dialogue between the University leadership and students.

Before the meeting, an exhibition was organized in the University lobby to showcase the active work of student organizations. Certificates of recognition, trophies, and other awards reflecting students’ achievements were presented. The event was given a special atmosphere by thematic games, intellectual quizzes, and logic tasks prepared by the students themselves. Each activity reflected the specific focus and area of work of the participating organizations, allowing students not only to learn more about student initiatives but also to become directly involved in their activities.

Today, the University has many student organizations, each creating its own space for creativity, communication, development, and the implementation of ideas. During the meeting, 22 student organizations and clubs presented their activities in the areas of volunteering, intellectual development, creativity, sports, and social engagement. Student activists from the University’s Higher Schools also joined the event, including the teams Econom Pride, Dragon Kingdom, Warriors Clan, Phoenix Team, and Empire Eagles.

Student organizations are more than just communities based on shared interests. They are environments where initiatives are created, leadership qualities are developed, talents are discovered, and valuable practical experience is gained. Participation in their activities helps students find like-minded people, implement their own projects, develop communication skills, and become active members of University life.

Each organization contributes to creating a vibrant and modern student environment. Here, ideas receive support, initiatives become real projects, and students’ desire for development becomes an important part of University life.

During the meeting, Gulzhan Jarassova spoke to students about herself, shared her personal experience, and presented her vision for the further development of the University. The open conversation allowed students to get to know the University leader in an informal and trusting atmosphere and learn more about the principles and priorities that guide her work.

A special part of the meeting was the direct dialogue with students. Using a QR code, participants were able to access a special platform and submit their questions anonymously. This format made the conversation as open and meaningful as possible, allowing students to raise the issues that genuinely concern them today.

In her address, The Chairman of the Board – Rector Gulzhan Jarassova emphasized the special role of young people in the development of the University, highlighting the importance of initiative, responsibility, the pursuit of new knowledge, and active participation in University life.

The meeting demonstrated that the student community of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University is an energetic and proactive group of young people who are ready to develop, create new ideas, and take an active role in shaping the future of their University.

It is through open dialogue, support for initiatives, and joint work that a University environment is created in which students’ ideas are heard, opportunities are expanded, and youth potential becomes one of the important resources for the University’s development.
