III INTERNATIONAL ALTAIC FORUM

Students of the educational program “History” took part in the III International Altaic Forum “Unity of Slavic and Turkic peoples in history and modernity”. The large-scale forum was held in the city of Barnaul. The participants were more than 300 scientists from 92 universities and scientific institutions of Russia, Mongolia, Hungary and Central Asian countries.
11 students represented WKU on the international arena. All of them made reports in the Youth section of the forum “Historical studies of social processes in the Greater Altai region”. Young scientists told about archeological research of the Kazakh Altai and cultural and historical processes in this region.
