AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY STUDENTS CONTRIBUTED TO CAMPUS GREENING

The Department of Ecology and Geography of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held the third day of the environmental campaign “Ecology Begins with Each of Us,” organized as part of the Taza Qazaqstan program.

As part of the campaign, first- to fourth-year students of the Department of Ecology and Geography took part in greening the classrooms of Academic Building No. 4. They planted indoor plants, contributing to the creation of a more comfortable and environmentally friendly educational environment. The students’ curators also joined the initiative and supported the event.

Indoor plants not only enhance learning spaces but also help promote a caring attitude toward nature, develop a culture of looking after green spaces, and increase environmental responsibility. Such initiatives contribute to the development of environmental awareness among young people and encourage students to care for the environment in their everyday lives.

The main goal of the campaign is to promote environmental culture within the University, foster a responsible attitude toward nature, and involve students in initiatives aimed at protecting the environment.
