AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY ADVANCES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University is actively integrating artificial intelligence technologies to improve the educational process, advance scientific research, and address current social challenges. With the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the University is implementing digital projects and developing its own technological solutions.

One of the key areas is the AI-Sana program. During the first stage, 8,300 students registered for the program, of whom 7,050 completed the training and received certificates in basic artificial intelligence skills. At the second stage, 1,400 participants were selected for further training.

The University is also developing its own digital infrastructure. A total of 13 AI agents have been developed, eight of which are already operational. More than 1,500 people use the University’s digital services every day.

University students are also creating and implementing their own solutions to address practical challenges. These include the Antibullying Telegram bot, designed to provide anonymous support and help prevent bullying, as well as an artificial intelligence-based system for diagnosing lung diseases.

AI technologies are also being integrated into the University’s everyday operations. The AI-Ustaz service assists faculty members in preparing educational materials, while the C2U system automates the process of matching courses completed by college graduates with University educational programs when considering credit transfer.

The use of artificial intelligence algorithms makes it possible to analyze the content of academic disciplines and compare it with educational program requirements, simplifying processes that were previously performed manually by specialists.

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University continues to expand the use of artificial intelligence, improve its digital infrastructure, and support student initiatives. Particular attention is paid to training specialists who are able not only to use modern technologies but also to develop their own innovative solutions.

The development of artificial intelligence is an important component of Amanzholov University’s digital transformation, helping to unlock students’ scientific and creative potential and develop competencies that are in demand in today’s digital economy.
